From Dream to Reality: My BizBuzz Experience

When I first filled the form for BizBuzz Coordinators with my sweaty palms and raised my shaky
hand to be the Event Coordinator or CEO as we called it, my heart sank a little. I’ll be honest, I
was unsure of myself. Scared, even. The idea of taking on such a huge responsibility felt
overwhelming, and a part of me wondered whether I was really capable of doing justice to an
event of this scale.
But little did I know then, BizBuzz wouldn’t just be another college event. It would be a life altering experience.
At the beginning, every step felt uncertain. Planning, organizing, managing people, handling
sponsors, calling participants it all seemed like a mountain too high to climb. But along the way, I
was blessed with mentors without whom BizBuzz would never have been what it was. They not
only guided me but also believed in me, even when I didn’t fully believe in myself. Their
encouragement became my strength. Slowly, I stopped doubting myself and started trusting the
process.
A very special thank you to Prashant Sir who not only envisioned this event but also gave us the
courage to believe we could actually pull it off. BizBuzz truly began as your dream before it
became ours and we hope we were able to do it justice. Personally, you were my biggest source
of reassurance whenever the pressure felt too heavy. Your guidance with patience, support at
times when we ourselves were unsure served as constant reminders that this journey was as
much about learning as it was about the outcome. Without your mentorship, I don’t think I would
have found the strength or confidence to carry this responsibility.A huge thank you to Aakriti Ma’am for being our constant source of support and motivation not
only as a teacher but as a sister who stood by us in every high and low. Your kindness,
encouragement and invaluable life-lessons carried us through more than you know. We learned
to pour our heart and soul into everything that we do, from you. For me, you weren’t just a
mentor in this journey, you were the reason I dared to take the first step.
Thank you to every member of the BizBuzz team, your contributions, no matter how big or small,
built the foundation of our success. Each sleepless night, each idea, each effort added up to the
grand celebration that was BizBuzz 2025. A huge thank you goes to Aayush and Sakar, my copartners in this journey. Without you two, there’s no way we could have reached the heights we
did. You were my pillars, my sounding boards, and my teammates in every sense of the word.
Lastly, to everyone who was part of this journey: thank you. For believing, for supporting, and for
making BizBuzz 2025 a milestone in all our lives.
I learned that an event does not end when the day ends and the audience leaves. There are
countless post-event activities that matter just as much, the follow-ups, reviews, and reflections.
But most importantly, there’s a quiet sense of fulfillment that lingers, ‘the knowledge that you
created something impactful, something people will remember.’
The event itself was unforgettable, but what touched me even more was the celebration
afterward when our college administration gathered with us to reflect on what we had achieved.
Their faith in us, their acknowledgment of our hard work, and their belief in student-led initiatives
gave me a sense of pride I cannot quite put into words.
Just like a caterpillar that turns into a beautiful butterfly and is excited to explore all the different
flowers that a garden has to offer. Similarly, BizBuzz became my cocoon. Before, I was just a tired
student, someone who only dared to dream of becoming more. But now, I have found myself
transformed into someone more confident, more enthusiastic, and deeply hungry to learn more
from life, to experience everything it has to offer. BizBuzz taught me resilience, leadership,
teamwork, and above all the beauty of creating something larger than myself.
As I look back, I realize that BizBuzz was not just an event, it was a journey that shaped me. A part
of it will forever stay etched in my memory, and I hope we carry forward this legacy for years to
come. To describe BizBuzz in a word is almost impossible, but if I had to, it’s “JADU”.
