We are affiliated to Tribhuvan University, the oldest and largest university in Nepal.

We are located at Balkumari Lalitpur. We have two buildings. Our Engineering building is located at Balkumari Chowk, nearby Balkumari bus stop. Our Management and IT building is located in the Chyasal road of Balkumari. Both of our buildings are within 5 minutes of walking distance to each other.

Admissions for Engineering programs start after the results for IoE Entrance exams are published by Institute of Engineering, Tribhuvan University, which is usually in Bhadra.

Admissions for our Management programs – BBA and BBM start after the results for CMAT test are published by Department of Management, Tribhuvan University, which is usually in Ashwin.

Admissions for our BSc. CSIT program start after the results for IOST Entrance exams are published by Institute of Science and Technology, Tribhuvan University, which is usually in Ashwin.

Admissions for our BCA program start after the results for BCA Entrance exams are published by Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Tribhuvan University, which is usually in Ashwin.

Yes, you will need to pass IoE Entrance exam to get admission in our Engineering programs. Only those students who have passed in IoE Entrance exam will be considered for admission, which is decided based on your rank in that exam.

Yes, you will need to pass CMAT test compulsorily to get admission in our Management programs. Our admissions are based on merit.

Yes, you will need to pass IOST Entrance Exam compulsorily to get admission in our BSc. CSIT program. Our admissions are based on merit.

Yes, you will need to pass BCA Entrance Exam compulsorily to get admission in our BCA program. Our admissions are based on merit.

Yes, you will have to fill our admission form to apply for any course at Kathford. Admission forms will be available at our reception desk during admission period.

No, you cannot apply for Engineering program without passing the IoE Entrance exam in the same year. Previous year’s results will not be deemed valid for current year’s admission. This is same for all our programs.

No, you will need to have studied and passed Mathematics in grade 11 as well as 12. This means, you should have either studied Physics, Chemistry and Maths or Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Maths in your grade 12 to apply for Engineering course.

Yes, you can apply for BSc. CSIT with +2 in Biology without Extra Maths.

Yes, you can apply for BCA program with +2 in Humanities.

For Engineering programs, we conduct mock tests to help you prepare for IoE Entrance exams.
For BSc. CSIT and BCA programs, we conduct seminar, entrance preparation classes as well as mock tests to help you prepare for IOST Entrance exam and BCA Entrance exam respectively.
For BBA and BBM programs, we conduct mock tests to help you prepare for CMAT test.
