A dedicated Kanban Workshop was held to familiarize students with one of the most widely adopted frameworks in Agile project management. The session introduced the Kanban model, focusing on its core elements — visual boards, columns, cards, WIP (Work-in-Progress) limits, and continuous delivery.

Participants learned how visualizing tasks on a Kanban board helps track progress from “To Do”, “In Progress”, to “Done”, making workflows more transparent and manageable. The facilitator emphasized how WIP limits prevent overload, improve focus, and keep tasks moving smoothly through each stage of the workflow.

Through a series of guided activities, students created their own Kanban boards and applied the framework to everyday use-cases such as assignment tracking, group projects, and club activities. They also explored how the Kanban system supports flexibility, team collaboration, and gradual improvement rather than drastic changes — making it ideal for both academic and professional environments.

The event successfully provided attendees with a practical understanding of how the Kanban framework can be used to manage work more efficiently, stay organized, and foster a continuous improvement mindset
