Academic Visit to Vianet Communications Pvt. Ltd., Jawalakhel

The club organized an academic visit to Vianet Communications Pvt. Ltd., Jawalakhel, one of Nepal’s leading internet and communications service providers. The objective of the visit was to provide students with firsthand exposure to the operations, technologies, and services of a major player in the ICT sector.

During the visit, company representatives briefed the students on Vianet’s history, its role in expanding internet accessibility across Nepal, and the technological infrastructure that supports its services. Students also gained insights into the practical aspects of network management, customer service operations, and the company’s efforts to adopt emerging technologies to meet growing demands.

The session was highly interactive, allowing students to ask questions and deepen their understanding of internet service provision in the Nepalese context. The exposure proved both exciting and worthwhile, as it connected academic learning with practical applications in the field of communication technology.
