Kathford played a huge role in shaping my career as a Software Engineer at Spotify, Stockholm. The knowledge, mentorship, and hands-on opportunities I received here gave me the confidence to work on impactful projects—like the ‘Search and Browse’ feature of the Spotify Android app. While at Kathford, I represented my university in both national and international hackathons, winning three titles that opened global doors for me. The encouragement I received also helped me earn the "Google Women Techmakers Scholar Award 2020-2021", a recognition based on leadership, diversity impact, and academic excellence. I owe much of my growth to the supportive environment and inspiring mentors at Kathford.

My journey at Kathford was nothing short of transformational. It wasn’t just about earning a degree — it was about discovering my purpose and building the confidence to pursue it. The encouragement I received from the faculty and the access to resources allowed me to dive deep into blockchain technology at a time when it was still new in Nepal. Kathford gave me the platform to experiment, lead, and grow — from hosting workshops and trainings across the country to taking on major responsibilities as Chief Blockchain Officer while still a student. Those experiences laid the groundwork for everything I do today as the CEO of RedChillies Labs Inc. (REDC). I’m proud to be a part of the Kathford family, and I truly believe the innovative culture and mentorship here can empower any student to become a leader in their field.

Being a BBA student at Kathford has been one of the most enriching experiences of my academic life. As a scholarship holder, I was motivated to consistently push my limits, achieving a 4.0 GPA in my third semester. Beyond academics, serving as the Vice-President of KSEC – Kathford Social and Entrepreneurship Club, and organizing impactful events, strengthened my leadership and confidence. Kathford has truly shaped me into a well-rounded individual ready to take on challenges in the business world.

Kathford has been instrumental in turning my dream of becoming a civil engineer into a meaningful journey of growth and leadership. Receiving a fully funded scholarship through the IOE entrance exams opened the door — but it was the environment at Kathford that helped me truly thrive. As President of CESS-Kath, I had the privilege of leading trainings and workshops designed to help civil engineering students not only gain technical knowledge but also develop managerial skills. Winning the Paper Bridge Competition at the HEx event for Kathford was a proud moment, and teaching fellow students to build paper bridge models remains one of my most rewarding experiences. Today, as a member of Nepal Centre for Engineering & Research, I carry forward the confidence, vision, and values that Kathford instilled in me. I believe any dedicated student can achieve remarkable things here — just as I was encouraged to.

The journey at Kathford transformed me from a curious learner into an innovator. With constant encouragement from faculty and exposure to robotics, automation, and coding competitions, I gained the courage to push boundaries. Today, as an Embedded Systems Engineer at Yatri Motorcycles, I apply the problem-solving skills and vision I developed at Kathford to build solutions that impact lives.

At Kathford, I found the perfect environment to nurture my passion for technology. From AI to robotics, every project I worked on was backed by the guidance of supportive faculty and a community that believed in me. These experiences prepared me for leadership roles, and today I proudly serve as the CTO at Belong Technology in Australia. Kathford taught me not just technical knowledge, but also the courage to lead.
